A NOW SEASON

The church both personally, and corporately are entering a season of unprecedented change. We are entering a right now season every seed that has been sown in faith and tended to through our obedience is beginning to sprout.During the last several weeks I have heard several prophetic words both from annointed men and women but also during my private time with God.
We are going to see and experience restoration and renewal in areas that we may have even given up hope on.Restoration speaks of bringing back to a former position and an UNIMPAIRED and IMPROVED condition.Renewal is referring to a spiritual renewal to bring back to a state of vigor or strength to bring back to existence and to reinstate.Simply renewal means restitution.
Jesus said in Matt.24:37 as in the days of Noah so also so shall the the coming of the Son of man be.Jesus goes on in the next 2 verses to describe how that basically people just went on with their lives as usual.Notice something Jesus was speaking of the Flood and lets not dismiss the comparison of the state of man spriritually and morally during that time and the day we are living in.Also recognize that it has always been that way as described in verse 38.We aslo know that as it was during the days of Noah man had grown exceedingly wicked and sinful and if we look around its not hard to see the depravity of the culture and time we live in.The signs of His soon coming are everywhere and the earth is surely travailng as a woman about to give birth. There is also something we need I beleive to look at during the days of Noah.Noahs day God used a flood to bring Judgment upon man but in the last days according to Habb.2:14 God said that during the last days there would be a flood of the knowledge of the Glory of God upon the earth.
The knowledge speaks of an encounter with Gods glory.Gods glory is what changes everything. The glory of God resting upon His people will be evidenced through lives impacted and changed in such a way that will draw many to Him.There are going to be things that we have been expecting and even those things we may have given up hope for manifesting in our life that people are going to see that only God could have done it.
So be encouraged today and dont give up on what God has spoken to you and even over your life.God is about to pour out His glory upon you personally the body of Christ corporately and the the earth to make Himself known and to make ready a people a church that is victorious vibrant and full of li

Distraction

Distraction or to be distracted to shift our focus from where it should be to something less important.Distraction will  take us from where we should be to where we shouldn't be. Distractions are often a result of a loss of priority in our lives for the thing or person or whatever we deem to be the most important will be that which we focus our attention on.Distractions in our lives spiritually are the result of a loss of "first love".Remember how it was when we first got saved and how that it seemed we couldn't get enough of Jesus,or the Word how it seemed that we just couldn't wait till church time or we even just went somewhere on "odd" days like Tuesday or Friday or even a Saturday cause we just couldn't get enough of Jesus. Seems like today we often get distracted by our circumstances and situations and focus more on them than what the word says. Was thinking the other day about how there often seems to be so much going on around us that we sometimes get distracted from even our own devotion to the Lord.Instead of prayer time we find other things to distract us from that instead of spending time in the word we we find something to distract us from that. There always seems to be something going on around us to distract us from where our focus needs to be towards something of less importance. Now I am not trying to say that all distractions are necessarily bad at all what I am trying to say is that within the Body of Christ there needs to be a shift in priorities back to what is the most important thing allowing God to will and to work in our lives. My prayer my hunger my passion is for the Body of Christ to return back to the hunger that we used to have and by doing so we will see the distractions the hinderances those things things that we have placed above Him begin to leave and God will have more room in us to work His purpose out both in our lives and in those around us

Lukewarm Chriatianity

16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—Revelation 3:16-17

In their spiritual life, their religion, their faith, their devotion to God, and their love, the Laodicean Christians were neither cold nor hot. The church was not cold or hostile to the Gospel; she did not reject the faith. But neither was the church hot and enthused about the Gospel; she was not excited and on fire about the faith. She was simply indifferent to the Gospel. She was indifferent about her devotion and commitment. She was indifferent in her love. Yes, the members of that church claimed to be Christian, yet it made no difference in what they did or how they lived.
Do these same issues that Jesus had with the church of Laodicea describe us and our relationship with God.Have we become indifferent towards the word, towards the things of God, does the the things that we once got exited in terms of God and His word no longer move us or stir us.Has the fire and the passion that we had when we first accepted Jesus as our savior died down to just the embers of the fire we once had or even worse has that fire just simply gone out.Has our relationship been replaced by religion by a form of Godliness yet our lives deny the very power of God and His word.
As I have said before that it is time that we the church the body of Christ awaken ourselves from our state of mediocrity and stir up the gift that is been given us the gift of life grace and mercy. The gift of the Power and annointing of the Holy Spirit and BE THE CHURCH.
